Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Revvu ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Revvu is a GitHub App that provides automated, AI-powered code reviews on pull requests. When installed on a repository, Revvu analyzes pull request diffs and posts inline review comments with suggestions, warnings, and improvements.

Account and Access

  • You must authenticate via GitHub OAuth to use Revvu. Your Revvu account is tied to your GitHub identity.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account. Revvu is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised GitHub credentials.
  • You may only maintain one Revvu account per GitHub identity.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of GitHub's Terms of Service.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other safeguards built into the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to process code that you do not have the right to share or review.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.

Intellectual Property

Your code remains yours. Revvu does not claim any ownership rights over the source code in your repositories or pull requests. Code diffs are processed in memory and never stored.

Review comments generated by Revvu are provided for your use within the context of your development workflow. The Revvu service, including its branding, website, and underlying technology, remains the intellectual property of Revvu.

AI-Generated Content

Revvu's review comments are generated by artificial intelligence and should be treated as suggestions, not guarantees.

  • AI-generated reviews may contain inaccuracies, miss issues, or suggest changes that do not apply to your specific context.
  • You are solely responsible for evaluating, accepting, or rejecting any suggestions provided by Revvu.
  • Revvu is not a substitute for human code review, security audits, or compliance checks.
  • We do not guarantee that Revvu will catch all bugs, vulnerabilities, or code quality issues.

Availability and Support

We provide the Service on a best-effort basis. We may experience downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen issues. We do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage unless covered by a separate enterprise agreement.

Support is available through our GitHub repository and website. We aim to respond to issues in a timely manner but do not guarantee specific response times.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revvu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

  • You may stop using Revvu at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App from your repositories.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
